Extreme Sailing Series heads to the Far East for Act 2, Singapore
The high-rise and cosmopolitan city of Singapore is getting into gear to host to Act 2 of the 2013 Extreme Sailing Series™ in just one weeks time.
It’s not the first time the Extreme 40s have raced in Singapore but this iconic city is now a regular fixture on the global, 8-stop tour for the next three years supported by Local Partner Aberdeen Asset Management, the Singapore Sports Council and the Singapore Sailing Federation. Eight international teams with 28 World Championship titles, 20 Olympic campaigns and 25 America’s Cups between them will line up on the 11th April for four days of intense stadium racing on Marina Bay Reservoir, including local heroes Scott Glen Sydney and Justin Wong and their home nation invitational entry, Team Aberdeen Singapore.
