Cowes Yacht Haven Launches New Website Incorporating Online
Booking Facility
Under the umbrella of www.cowesyachthaven.com
the new online presence of Cowes Yacht Haven encompasses four
satellite sites providing information on Marina and Berthing

Boatyard Services, Conferences and Events

[http://www.sailingcowes.com/].
Cowes Yacht Haven is unique among
Solent marinas in that it is owned by a charitable trust, Cowes
Town Waterfront Trust, and its remit is to provide year round
facilities for hosting major regattas and events including
Aberdeen Asset Management Cowes Week, Little Britain Challenge
Cup, Cowes Classic Powerboat Festival, Coutts Quarter Ton Cup,
Ribex and many more. In practise this means that Cowes Yacht
Haven has significantly fewer permanent berth holders than other
marinas with the majority of berths being exclusively available
for events and visiting yachtsmen. The number of people wishing
to book berths on a short-term basis is therefore much higher and
so a new online booking facility

been incorporated into the website to help visitors reserve their
berths as quickly and easily as possible. The site is fully
mobile compatible so even if you are already afloat you can still
book your berth online from your phone.The new website is also
designed to assist those looking to use Cowes Yacht Haven as an

looking to host a major sailing regatta, informal rally, company
conference, product launch, private party or your wedding all the
information you need to start planning your event is now
available online.
Cowes Yacht Haven's full-service boat yard
offers lift and launch services, boat repairs, onsite storage and
dry sailing packages. Throughout the year special offers will be
made available to customers through the new website and via the
Facebook and Twitter feeds. Customers can also sign up to
receive regular e-mail updates direct to their in-boxes.The
Regatta and Rallies site also incorporates a dedicated Cowes Week

news on what's happening at Cowes Yacht Haven during Aberdeen

Cowes Yacht Haven site has been the historic home of Cowes Week

About Cowes Yacht Haven
Cowes Yacht Haven is owned by the Cowes Town Waterfront Trust, a
charitable organisation whose prime objective is to rejuvenate
Cowes Waterfront, and in particular Cowes Yacht Haven, with
particular attention paid to maintaining visual integrity. In
2000/2001 this most important Cowes marina underwent a £2.1
million facelift, providing 3,000 square metres of hard standing
and upgrading the mooring facilities.
The Cowes Town Waterfront Trust owns the Cowes Yacht Haven site
and invests all the income generated by the marina back into its
future. The newest development at Cowes Yacht Haven is the Haven
Events Centre, opened in June 2005, and funded by a grant from
the Rufford Sir Maurice Lang Foundation. The aim of this
construction is to ensure the position of Cowes Yacht Haven as a
first class event venue for years to come.
Since its formation in 1991 over £3.5 million has been put into
the construction of new buildings and improvements to the
facilities. Cowes Yacht Haven has evolved into a prime event
location, not only hosting the Aberdeen Asset Management Cowes
Week visitors, but providing year round facilities for other
regattas such as the Little Britain Challenge Cup, Cowes Classic
Powerboat Festival, Commodores Cup and many corporate team
building and training events.
