La Route du Rhum – La Banque Postale: An exceptional line-up for 2010
Tuesday 28th September, at the Musée du Quai Branly in Paris, Patrick Werner, President of the Banque Postale and Roland Tresca, President of Pen Duick, in the presence of René Couanau, Mayor of Saint Malo and Deputy of Ile-et-Vilaine, Victorin Lurel, Deputy and President of the Regional Council of Guadeloupe and Jean-Yves Le Drian, President of the Regional Council of Brittany, presented the 86 skippers competing in the 9th edition of the Route du Rhum La Banque Postale. Below is a close-up numeric overview of this exceptional 2010 line-up.
The 60' IMOCA monohulls launched this year, which will be taking the start. They comprise three VPLP/Verdier designs: PRB skippered by Vincent Riou (March), Virbac Paprec 3 helmed by Jean-Pierre Dick (May) and Foncia skippered by Michel Desjoyeaux (September).
