Ol' Man Winter finally released his grasp on New York City yesterday with the first full day over 60 degrees. Not a moment too soon@ Everyone in nearby office buildings was heading to their elevators and out to the esplanade for an outdoor lunch. If you haven't heard from your friends at North Cove these past few months, it is because we were in the deep freeze! But as of today, our season is now officially open. Dennis Conner, North Cove's patron and America's most famous sailor, has also been busy this winter. He recently launched a new museum and store on Shelter Island Drive in San Diego.
